Linebacker Brian Burns struggled to keep his emotions in check as the New York Giants suffered a historic collapse against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Coming off the back of a landscape-shifting win against the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles last week, the Giants rolled into Mile High on top of the world.
Things were looking good through three quarters, as the dynamic rookie duo of Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo had New York up 19-0.
But after 45 minutes of zero points, the Broncos scored 33 in the fourth quarter, and stunned the Giants with a 33-32 win .
It was a comeback that will go down in history, and that one snapped a streak in which NFL teams had won 1,602 consecutive games when leading by 18 points in the final six minutes of a game.
And it's fair to say
