Bay Area Rush fans are going to be very happy this morning.

That’s because the classic rock act has announced its bringing its reunion tour to the Bay Area.

Rush — featuring co-founders Geddy Lee on bass/vocals and Alex Lifeson on guitar as well as drummer Anika Nilles — will perform Oct. 15 at SAP Center in San Jose.

It’s part of the band’s Fifty Something, which is a “celebration of RUSH’s music, legacy and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart,” according to a news release.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon Oct. 31, rush.com.
