Glasgow’s Silverburn has been named as ‘Retail Destination of the Year’ at the "Oscars of retail".

The popular shopping centre in the southside has just been given the top award at the 2025 SCEPTRE Awards, with the team behind it saying the award recognises its exceptional performance and contribution to the UK’s retail industry.

The win marks a major national accolade for the Glasgow landmark, coming just weeks after Silverburn was named Best Performing Large Business at the Glasgow Business Awards 2025.

This week, Silverburn also celebrated a remarkable milestone, welcoming one million additional customers through its doors so far this year, compared to the same period last year.
