A lottery player in Massachusetts won $4 million from a $10 scratch ticket game last week, leaving just one grand prize to be claimed.

The $4 million prize was from “ 100X ,” a $10 scratch ticket game released in June. There were three top prizes worth $4 million when the game was released and as of Oct. 20, just one remains to be claimed.

The winner chose to claim their prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes on Oct. 14. The prize was claimed through a trust called Candy 2025 Trust of Lowell, represented by trustee Nikki Caplis.

The winner bought their ticket at Pete’s Gulf, located at 185 Woburn St. in Lowell. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
