After a navigating a relatively tough non-league schedule, players on Friday weren’t overwhelmed by the moment and the Arabs put together their best performance, by far, in the biggest moment of the season.

The 55-30 win over Yucca Valley now puts Coachella Valley in the driver’s seat in the Desert Valley League. The matchup between the two schools has decided the league champion each of the last four years and figures to do the same once again, with two regular season games remaining.

"We hadn't played a complete game yet," Arabs head coach Bill Johnson said, "and in this one we played that complete game."
