SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Sioux Falls Police are investigating an incident where multiple gunshots were fired in downtown Sioux Falls early Saturday morning.
At Monday's police briefing, Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sgt. Aaron Benson said a call came in around 12:30 a.m. for people being disorderly and refusing to leave a parking ramp near 10th St. and Mall Ave., when the officer heard gunshots in the background.
When officers arrived on scene, multiple people and vehicles were leaving the scene. Detectives are reviewing video footage and talking with witnesses.
Benson said a dispute between two different groups led to gunfire. Evidence of gunfire, including several vehicles that had been shot were discovered.
