MAULDIN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Samsung Electronics America said it is expanding with a new call center facility in Mauldin.

Officials said the 14,000-square-foot facility located at 701 Brookfield Parkway will serve as a workspace for 150 employees. It will also be equipped with a cutting-edge training lab.

According to the company, the new Samsung CARE Customer Service Contact Center will boost nearby restaurants, retailers, and service providers.

A grand opening is expected to be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
