GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman following a burglary and stabbing that occurred in Mauldin on Monday afternoon.
Officials received a 911 call around 12:18 p.m. regarding a stab victim at a residence on Hill Lane. Upon arrival, deputies located a victim with at least one stab wound. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Deputies said that 50-year-old Shelina Yeargin was arrested after the investigation discovered she broke into multiple homes on Hill Lane, stabbed a homeowner and threatened to harm another resident of the same home.
Investigators shared that Yeargin and the stab victim were familiar with each other.
