WASHINGTON — Bobby Horne, a former professional wrestler best known to fans as Sir Mo from the WWE tag team Men on a Mission, has died at the age of 58.
Book Pro Wrestlers, a wrestling talent booking company, announced Horne’s death Sunday night in a statement shared to Facebook, saying he passed away after several years of health issues.
“Bobby made his mark in the wrestling world with his infectious energy, booming personality, and unmistakable charisma,” the company said.
Horne began wrestling in 1991 and joined WWE, which was WWF at the time, in 1993. He and his tag team partner Mabel, Nelson Frazier Jr., briefly held the WWE Tag Team Championship in March 1994.
