While the weekend rain has moved out, Michigan isn't done with fall weather; it's going to be cool and breezy, with mid-week rain and thunderstorms.

" Cold front brings a line of rain showers late (Monday, Oct. 20). Chance of showers with isolated non-severe thunderstorms Tuesday (Oct. 21) afternoon and evening," posted the National Weather Service in Detroit on X on Monday. "Much colder temperatures Wednesday (Oct. 22) and Thursday (Oct. 23) with occasional showers."

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to develop across the state Oct. 21-23 with strong winds reaching 35 mph in southwest and northern areas. Hazardous weather outlooks are in place for strong winds, lightning and possible hail.
