Grab your shades, Southeast Michigan. The Detroit area and its suburbs will have some nice, sunny skies today. But you’ll need a jacket. And by mid-week, you’ll need an even warmer jacket.

An incoming cold front is going to bring in a line of rain showers late this evening. More chances for rain will come Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night. We could even see some isolated thunderstorms.

What follows will be much colder temperatures starting Wednesday and carrying into Thursday, with scattered rain showers possible.
