Michigan gas prices fell to a new low for 2025 and to the lowest price in years.

One gas station in Evans, Colorado, has been selling gas for $1.99.

Michigan’s average gas price, now well below $3 a gallon, fell to a new low for 2025 and to the lowest price in years.

And analysts are predicting prices will go even lower.

"Drivers across Michigan are seeing the lowest gas prices since April of 2021," said Adrienne Woodland, a spokeswoman for AAA. "If crude oil prices and demand continue to fall, pump prices will likely follow suit."
