Bengaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread rainfall across Karnataka till October 29 due to a low-pressure area forming over the Arabian Sea.
According to the IMD, coastal districts including Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Udupi are likely to experience moderate to heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms, especially during the night. Similarly, hilly districts such as Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, and Shivamogga are expected to receive good rainfall during the evening hours.
