Aaron Vega named new head of Western Mass. Economic Development Council

SPRINGFIELD — Aaron Vega will be the new president and CEO of the Western Massachusetts Economic Development Council.

“I’m very excited,” Vega said in Monday’s announcement. “For me now, this role makes total sense on my trajectory, but there’s no way I was planning this. I’m astonished and very thankful to be able to do important work in my home region.”
