SARPY COUNTY, Neb. —
The 30-year-old man accused of a shooting that injured a juvenile in Sarpy County reached a plea agreement.
Cortez Jackson pleaded no contest to an amended charge of assault - cause bodily injury, a misdemeanor. According to court documents, three charges were dropped .

The incident happened in the early hours in November 2024 near 167th and Meridian streets.
When deputies arrived, they found a juvenile male who had gunshot wounds to the arm and leg.
The juvenile was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and he was released.
