NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Cinnamon whiskey pecans sold in Connecticut and eight other states were recalled Monday because they may contain cashews, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Nat's Nuts of Rochester, New York are recalling 600 bags of the pecans, which are packaged in a black and orange bag and a best by date of Sept. 29, 2026. The product was distributed to 25 stores in eight states, including Connecticut.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the product. The recall was initiated after an employee opened a bag and found cashews inside.
