STOCKTON, Calif. —

Stockton Mayor Christina Fugazi told KCRA 3 on Monday that her house was struck by gunfire overnight.

Fugazi said the shooting happened around 2 a.m. She did not hear the shot herself, but her partner did, and they noticed the bullet hole in the morning.

Details were not released on a possible motive behind the shooting or if her house was targeted.
