A brief look at the proposed Texas constitutional amendments, stemming from the 89th Texas Legislative session, as previously reported:

Proposition 1: Would create two state funds to pay for buildings and equipment for the Texas State Technical College System.

Proposition 2: Would prohibit the Texas legislature from taxing the realized or unrealized capital gains of an individual, family, estate, or trust.

Proposition 3: Would require the denial of bail pending trial to a person charged with certain serious felony offenses such as murder.
