Jona Gail Stanley (Amory Funeral Home)

Jona Gail Stanley, 66, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Kenneth Ferrell Stanley; her children, Laura Zenhye (Kurt) and Kenneth “Matt” Stanley (Emma); her grandchildren, Amelia, Layla, and Wyatt; and her bonus grandsons, Tripp and Brody. Jona is also survived by her siblings, Gary Compton (Mary Jo), Sandy Mullins (Donnie), and Patty Dearing (Paul), as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Allen; her sisters, Donna Hill and Delsie Frederick; and her in-laws, Virginia and Harold Stanley.
