Chris Davies doesn’t expect there to be a runaway leader in this season’s Championship – but the Birmingham City boss’s eye has been caught by Coventry City and Ipswich Town.

The table is typically tight after 10 games with six points separating third-placed Stoke City and 17th-placed Blues.

Blues haven’t lived up to pre-season expectations thus far and have only taken five points from their last seven matches.
