London police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a vehicle slammed into a public-housing building over the weekend, causing about $150,000 in damage.
A vehicle collided with a building at 995 Southdale Rd., just east of Millbank Road, on Sunday around 4:20 a.m., police said.
The driver of a second vehicle fled after colliding with the car that crashed into the building, Sgt. Sandasha Bough said. No one was injured, and police are investigating the case as a hit-and-run.
Photos posted on social media show a white car that collided with the brick building at the public-housing complex operated by London and Middlesex Community Housing (LMCH). The vehicle hit a new building that is part of a project called Reimagine Southdale, which aims to replace or refurbish 166 townhouse units
