Indio police Monday were continuing to investigate the weekend robbery of an ampm convenience store.
The robbery was reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the store at 41910 Jackson St., according to the Indio Police Department.
Police said a man entered the store and demanded money from the cashier, who complied and gave the suspect cash from the register.
The suspect fled the scene in a red Toyota Camry. No firearms were seen during the robbery, according to Sgt. Abraham Plata.
