FAIRFIELD, Ohio —

One person is dead and another was taken to the hospital after a crash in Fairfield Monday.

It happened around 2:52 a.m. when Fairfield Police and EMS responded to the intersection of Woodridge Boulevard and Ross Road for a report of a single-vehicle crash. Advertisement

Police said one person was taken by ambulance to UC West Chester. The other person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.
