DENVER (KDVR) -- A flight that left the Denver International Airport last week was diverted due to a cracked windscreen in the multi-layered windshield.

The National Transportation Safety Board said in a post on X that it is investigating the incident, which occurred during cruise time in the air near Moab, Utah on Thursday.

The United plane, a Boeing 737-8, was traveling from Denver to the Los Angeles international Airport. It diverted to the Salt Lake City International Airport.

United said in a statement to FOX31 that the flight landed safely in Salt Lake City and said it arranged for another plane to take the 134 passengers to their final destination later that day.
