COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed near a Colorado Springs shopping center.

Officers were called to a shooting in the 2000 block of Southgate Road just before 5 p.m. Sunday. The victim had already died when police reached the scene. Southgate runs between the Broadmoor Towne Center and the Stratton Meadows neighborhood.

“Multiple witnesses were interviewed and at this time there is no suspect information to provide,” the Colorado Springs Police Department said, urging anyone with knowledge that could help in the investigation to call CSPD at 719-444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP. Crime Stoppers tips can be made anonymously.
