UofA, other colleges sent offer as several big-name universities have declined

Arizona State University has received an offer to sign a compact from the White House along with several other universities, multiple media outlets reported on Monday.

The Tempe university joined the University of Arizona in Tucson among those schools across the country that received the offer, according to KJZZ .

UofA officials have given no word about whether they intend to sign the agreement with the Trump administration that would require schools to have bathrooms and facilities based on a person's gendera at birth, freeze tuition for five years, limit international student enrollment and require the SAT or ACT for admission.
