AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of a fire at an apartment complex.

Amarillo Fire Department crews responded to the apartments at SW 9th and South Jackson Street around 3:45 p.m.

The first unit arrived to find the two-story apartment with heavy fire coming from an upstairs unit.

Fire crews entered the apartment and conducted a search while putting out the fire.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Crews on the scene say four people were displaced by the fire. The Red Cross is helping those impacted.
