Niagara police have released the photo of a man wanted for indignity to a human body after a 22-year-old woman was found deceased in a Niagara Falls parking lot last week.
On Oct. 14, Niagara Regional Police were called to the lot in the area of Main and Ferry streets for a report of a sudden death.
Police said the investigation was turned over to the homicide unit, and that one person had been arrested. The cause of death is still under investigation.
Police identified a suspect wanted for the charge of indignity to a human body as Ryan Maeder, 38. On Monday, police put out an update with the suspect’s photo.
Police said detectives encourage the man to seek legal counsel and to surrender to police.
