TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Seminole fans learned on Monday that Florida State University football Head Coach Mike Norvell will remain with the program despite a streak of in conference losses, including to Stanford this past weekend.
Several FSU students WCTV spoke with said the university made the right decision by sticking with Norvell, but others say too many losses have piled up.
“I personally feel like Norvell has had his shot. You know? We’ve had a lot of talented teams. He’s given it his all but it hasn’t been enough. Especially when you can’t beat in division opponents like we haven’t been able to,” said Grayson Massey, a junior at FSU.
On campus, Norvell is getting credit for a season opening win over Alabama, a team now ranked in the top 10.
