The attack against investigative reporter Sigfrido Ranucci is a threat to every journalist in Italy, says his colleague.

Late on Thursday, a bomb exploded outside Ranucci’s home, damaging two cars belonging to his family and drawing widespread condemnation from advocates of the free press.
