BELMONT COUNTY, OH (WTRF) - A woman who was in court two years ago for keeping 30 pets in deplorable conditions is back, this time on charges of victimizing people.
73-year-old Cheryl Howell-Goodwin is now charged with stealing more than 300-thousand dollars from developmentally disabled individuals.
She worked for Paramount Support Services and was in charge of managing clients' funds.
Attorneys for both sides told the judge today they are close to arriving at a plea agreement.
Judge Chris Berhalter gave them an additional two weeks and rescheduled the hearing for early November.
If convicted, Howell-Goodwin could face 11 years in prison.
