NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — As we go through tonight and into Tuesday, humidity will steadily increase, with dew points climbing into the 60s by tomorrow afternoon. You’ll definitely notice the air feeling a bit more humid compared to today. Most of Tuesday will still be warm and sunny, with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s, but by late afternoon, clouds will build and a few scattered showers or storms could develop as a cold front moves through.

By Wednesday morning, we’ll feel that front’s influence. Dew points will drop sharply, especially north of the lake, with much drier air and noticeably lower humidity taking hold through the day. In fact, humidity could dip below 30% in some spots Wednesday afternoon — something to watch if winds pick up, as that could raise some fire weather concern
