BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a tough job making children’s dreams come true, but here in Bowling Green, one organization has made it their mission to do just that.

The Dream Factory works year-round to make hundreds of dreams come true for children but that work isn’t always easy. To recognize that dedication, the organization honored one of their own with the “volunteer of the year” award.

Vicki Weaver, who’s been volunteering with The Dream Factory for more than 30 years, has devoted her life to helping children experience their dreams.

She says she was humbled and surprised when she learned she’d been chosen for the award.
