It’s never a bad thing for an NFL quarterback to get mentioned alongside Tom Brady in any capacity.

While the New England Patriots hope to have found their next franchise quarterback in Drake Maye, another team is watching a rookie quickly learn on the fly. Jaxson Dart has lit a spark within the New York Giants since replacing Russell Wilson under center.

The No. 25 pick has a long way to go before approaching a legend like Brady, but former quarterback Chris Simms evoked Brady when celebrating Dart’s passion on FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams.”

“I like when they score touchdowns, he comes off the sideline and he’s swearing and cussing and, ‘Let’s f’in go.’ And you can see the team rallying around him. That’s what makes great quarterbacks great,” Simms said.
