CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Cabell County Schools’ Transportation District took to the streets once again, but this time for something other than their bus routes.

“We’re looking to find some good people that like kids,” said Walter “Pineapple” Lett, a bus driver for 11 years.

Teams of bus drivers and aides could be found throughout Cabell County in the areas of Milton, Barboursville, and Huntington.

The effort was put together by the school district to support substitute hiring season.

Each team had job applications, as well as information about the different available positions. Cabell County Schools said no prior experience is required for their roles.

They’re hiring for a wide range of jobs such as custodians, cooks, secretaries, bus drivers, and more.
