2Philadelphia shopper wins $2 million Powerball prize with ticket sold at ShopRite
Philadelphia, PA – A Powerball ticket sold at a ShopRite in Philadelphia has turned into a $2 million payday for one lucky player, after matching all but one number in Saturday night’s drawing.
The ticket, sold at ShopRite of Fox Street located at 2800 Fox St., matched four of the five white balls—3, 11, 27, 40, and 58—plus the red Powerball number 10. Because the player added the $1 Power Play option, the prize doubled from $1 million to $2 million. The Power Play multiplier for that drawing was three.
The ShopRite location will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the high-tier winning ticket. The identity of the winner is currently unknown, as Pennsylvania Lottery policy does not confirm winners until
