CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police have accused a man of ramming a protester during a “No Kings” protest in Northeast Ohio.

At 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Jackson Township police were dispatched to Fulton Drive NW after a man in a vehicle struck a protester before driving away, the department said in a statement.

The protester, who was standing beside the road, was taken to the hospital by Jackson Township Fire Department, authorities said.

Witnesses provided police with the license plate and description of the suspect’s vehicle. Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol tracked the suspect to his home in Jackson Township in Stark County.

Authorities have not named the suspect, but Jackson Township police are working with prosecutors to determine charges.
