Two more sunscreens have been recalled amid concerns about their sun protection factor (SPF) claims, with the worrying list continuing to grow as summer approaches.
Outside Beauty & Skincare SPF 50+ Mineral Primer and Salus SPF 50+ Daily Facial Sunscreen have been added to the list of recalled products by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
It’s been revealed the two products don’t meet their SPF 50 claims, with preliminary testing finding their SPF was actually much closer to 21.
Earlier this month 18 sunscreens were recalled or paused from sale in Australia after the TGA revealed they use the same base formulation as an Ultra Violette product, which was voluntarily recalled in August.
