KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Tennessee baseball fans are on edge as reports swirl about head coach Tony Vitello’s potential move to Major League Baseball.

Multiple outlets report that Vitello has been in talks to become the next manager of the San Francisco Giants. On Monday afternoon, the Vols gathered for fall ball practice with Vitello in attendance, but talk in Knoxville wasn’t just about baseball drills.
