BUFFALO, N.Y. — Mechanical issues halted the NFTA's rail service this past weekend, but the NFTA has said that service will be fully operational starting Tuesday.
According to the NFTA, the NFTA Metro Rail will resume service on both above ground and underground routes starting Tuesday morning. Routes from University Station to Canalside Station will run starting at 5:08 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21.
The service was fully shut down Saturday afternoon following a mechanical issue, according to the NFTA. While the underground service was reopened Monday morning, the above ground service was still dealing with issues.
