I don’t even know why I’m writing this column. I mean, leftover Halloween candy? Is that really even a thing?
Then again, maybe some of you are not like me. Maybe some of you actually can have a bag of Halloween candy in your house and not instantly devour it. Maybe some of you have self control.
Maybe some of you are freaks.
Sorry, I didn’t mean that. That was the sugar talking.
You see, every year I become addicted to Halloween candy. It usually begins around Aug. 1 when the first displays for the spooky holiday begin to show up in the supermarket, and it lasts until the stroke of midnight on Oct. 31. The rest of the year I can resist a bag of mini-Kit Kats or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with ease, but slap a picture of a ghost or a scary black cat on the bag
