MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Harvesting is almost done here in North Dakota, and experts say this year's harvest had some highs and some lows.

James Rogers, an Extension Specialist at Ward County NDSU Extension, said most crops are out of the field except for corn, which remains the main focus right now.

Rogers described this year's harvest as a mixed bag.

"That's kind of what we're seeing all the way across the state is some places, they're yielding very good and other places not so good," Rogers said. "And that reflects kind of the moisture situation that we've seen this year as well. Parts of the state have really good adequate moisture, and other parts were a little bit short this year."
