A controversial proposal for a new daycare center in Louisville will head to the Lyndon City Council in November.

The process will begin with a non-voting caucus meeting on Nov. 17, followed by a first reading on Nov. 24 and a second reading, and possibly final vote, on Dec. 15.

During an informational meeting Monday night, Lyndon city councilmembers discussed where, when and how to hold the vote on rezoning, citing concerns about the available space and time for public comment at Lyndon City Hall. Around 150 people attended a planning commission meeting in September to discuss the zoning, leading Lyndon officials to speculate on the city hall's ability to host what they believe will be another crowded meeting.
