COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Three families are raising concerns about supervision and safety protocols at Cox Elementary School after their children suffered injuries during school hours.
The incidents occurred between November 2024 and September 2025. Parents are questioning whether the school followed proper emergency procedures and provided adequate supervision.
In August 2025, Karson Hall had an accident with another student at Cox Elementary during music class. His mother, Megan Hall, received a call from a teacher saying he was okay, but later learned from her son that he had allegedly been hit, slammed and kicked in the face during music class where only one teacher was present.
