HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A train in Waller County derailed along Business 290 at James Muse Rose on Monday evening, according to the county's fire marshal's office.

SkyEye flew over the scene where the sheriff's office said more than a dozen boxcars had overturned.

In a social media post, the Waller County Sheriff's Office said no injuries were reported.

Union Pacific sent ABC13 a statement that read:

"Around 6 p.m. CT Monday, approximately 23 rail cars on a Union Pacific train derailed near Prairie View, Texas. The incident occurred near Old Houston Highway and Highway 290. No one was hurt and no hazmat is involved. Cleanup is underway and the incident is under investigation."
