Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a small fire in Skunk Canyon near NCAR on Monday evening, according to a Boulder Fire-Rescue post to X.

The fire is in rugged terrain, and 11 firefighters hiked up to the fire from an access road, the post said.

Boulder Fire-Rescue, Mountain View Fire Rescue, Louisville Fire and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Fire Management team are on scene.
