CASS COUNTY, Ind. — Additional charges have been filed in the case against Daniel Muir, a former Indianapolis Colt accused of abusing his teenage son.

Muir was originally charged with obstruction of justice, a Level 6 Felony, and domestic battery, a Class A Misdemeanor. Cass County prosecutors filed motions to amend the charges brought against Muir on May 22 and Aug. 15, respectively.

Those motions added the following charges to Muir's ledger: • Obstruction of justice — a Level 5 Felony • Battery resulting in serious bodily injury — a Level 5 Felony

A judge issued an order granting the state's motion to amend Muir's charges. In that order, the court indicated that Muir was representing himself in the case.
