Commissioners hear budget requests from county departments

JEFFERSON — The second day of budget hearings for the Ashtabula County Board of Commissioners occurred Monday afternoon with numerous requests made for the 2026 budget.

After each of the hearings, the commissioners review the requests and eventually approve levels of spending for 2026.
