WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A social media trend that’s taking over apps like Instagram and TikTok reached the Wichita area and it’s leaving many, including on the Wichita State University campus, dumbfounded.

The trend features people allegedly urinating in public spaces at night. There are hundreds of accounts across multiple platforms dedicated to posting this kind of content.

“I just don’t really understand what they’re gaining, especially if they’re [urinating] on the ground,” said Wichita State University student Paige Stranghoner.

The trend started on college campuses earlier this year before being picked up by a larger audience and getting dedicated accounts for high schools and entire cities.
