Bengaluru-based Ola Electric has issued a clarificatory statement after the company executives, along with company CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, were booked by Bengaluru Police for abetment to suicide of a former employee.
In an exchange filing, the company issued a clarification denying any wrongdoing. In the statement, the EV maker said, during his tenure, Mr. Aravind (a former employee who died under mysterious circumstances) never raised any complaint or grievance regarding his employment.
Ola stated that the 38-year-old's role also did not involve any direct interaction with the company’s top management, including the promoter, Bhavish Aggarwal.
